With a strong foundation in ecological restoration, our team has contributed to the management and recovery of numerous Plant Community Types (PCT), including several classified as Endangered Ecological Communities (EECs). Our team is also skilled in biodiversity monitoring, employing established methods such as transects, quadrats, and photo-points to assess ecological health and change over time.
Bush Habitat Restoration Co-operative Limited (BHRC) is a worker owned, non-distributive co-operative that specializes in ecological restoration and bush regeneration. This means our co-operative is owned and operated by its members and any profits are re-invested into the co-operative rather than being distributed to shareholders.
Founded in 2001 by John Diamond and Georgina San Roque, BHRC focuses on restoring and protecting wildlife habitats throughout the Greater Sydney Region.

In addition to our hands-on restoration efforts, BHRC reinforces its environmental commitment through annual donations to respected organisations including BirdLife Australia and Bush Heritage Australia.
Bush Habitat Restoration Co-operative clients include local and state government departments, private land holders and not-for-profit organisations.
